The first of these was profiled in prestigious American magazine Down Beat in 1954, which regarded him as the most interesting new jazz artist even though he had never crossed the Atlantic.

Drekoty is a band founded by Ola Rzepka, drummer and pianist, member of such bands as Pictorial Candi, Wovoka, Graal, Alte Zachen and The Complainer and formerly known for collaboration with Pogodno and Budyń i Sprawcy Rzepaku. Two other members are Magda Turłaj (aka Karotka from Kawałek Kulki) and Zosz Chabiera.

The priority of OiK is giving concerts and the publishing is only the documentary recording of all the stages of their creative work.
