The programme of the Krakow Jazz Autumn is set, for the ninth time, to provide lovers of improvised music with a multitude of unforgettable concerts, workshops and other music-related events. Most of the planned concerts are the Polish premieres of new projects by recognised stars of the international improvised music scene.

VLADIMIRSKA

Vladimirska is a band based in Krakow, Poland. It began as the solo project of Canadian singer and accordionist Scotia Gilroy, but since 2010 it has grown into a 6-member band playing guitar, banjo, mandolin, trumpet, saxophone and drums. Focused around Scotia’s natural, unique singing style, Vladimirska has developed into an unusual indie folk-pop project playing sweet, melodic, intelligent songs that are tinged with an exotic, carnivalesque spirit.
