The King Of The Bees

The threepiece from the former mining town Saarbrücken, in southwest Germany, captivates with minimalistic and colourful arrangements, catchy melodies and its refreshingly modest stage presence. Somewhere between the dreaminess of the young Don McLean and the fragility of Bright Eyes, the distinctive voice of lead-singer Johannes Becker tells little picture-stories, whose vivid imagery and disarming directness relate to the curious perspective a child has of the world.
