Rob Coffinshaker – leader of Swedish country/psychobilly heroes The Coffinshakers, will play a solo show at Alchemia on December 13.
He may sound like a demonic version of Johnny Cash and look like Cristopher Lee in his Hammer-prime time but his songs can easily stand comparison to country’s greatest anthems. What seperates him from Nashville bling is not only his northern birthplace but also a darker sense of humor that modern country music definitely lacks.
His latest solo offering is a sold-out 2011 vinyl EP “Dark Rollin’ Skies”. The tracklist for Kraków concert will surely include Coffinshakers’ finest tracks and a couple of covers.
The concert starts at 8PM and tickets cost 20 zł .
