Picastro (from Toronto, Canada) have received much praise for their broodingly beautiful, melancholic soundscapes, in which cello alternates in the lead with frontwoman Liz Hysen’s submerged, murmured vocals.

Krakow Jazz Autumn 2013

Autumn is nearing and with it the Krakow Jazz Autumn, a festival that in its 7 years of existence has established itself one of the most important festival scenes not only in Europe but around the world. Krzysztof Ścierański – “I Love Guitars” / Night of Jazz 2013

Krzysztof Ścierański at the very beginning of his musical career had been especially
interested in playing electric guitar. Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and The Beatles were the
artists who significantly influenced him. However, once upon a time, the bass player from his
older brother’s band left, which turned out to be a good reason for Krzysztof to try out another
instrument, cello’s younger brother- electric bass guitar.
