SONIAMIKI (known to her family and friends as Zosia) composes her own songs, plays the bass guitar, has two albums under her belt (both released on Monin Records from Berlin and on niche labels in Poland) and has just been picked up by Warner Poland’s A&R. Her synth loops and electro beats are enriched by her sexy and simultaneously sweet pop vocals.
The video clip to her “Wiem Nie” song was shortlisted to the Budapest Crosstalk Videoart Festival in 2010. She has played big stages, like Poland’s Open’er and Męskie Granie, but also toured throughout her home country, Germany and even made an exclusive appearance at Utopia Fest in Texas, US.
Besides composing texts and melodies, Zosia is a graphic designer and even makes her own videos. One particularly special clip was for the single “Night is so sage” to which Zosia made an interactive clip that got you a free download of the track if you assembled monsters throughout the clip.
SONIAMIKI’s third album will be out in Poland in the beginning of 2016.
