As usual the JCF night-life will move to Alchemia: the stage in the club cellar will be taken over by festival artists. We look forward to seeing you at Midnite Sessions, four nights of unpredictable improvised music which shows the essential richness and diversity of the Jewish culture.
The Glass House presents the rich Jewish-Hungarian cultural heritage while trying to find its place on the contemporary Hungarian and international scene. The orchestra consists of eight established musicians with various backgrounds. They investigate the sophisticated Jewish musical tradition, and the results are outstanding. Frank London, the band leader, defines GHO music as Astro-Hungarian folk punk: contemporary, at times postmodern and deconstructivist, at times archeological-conservationist.
Tickets 10 PLN, available at the Festival ticket office (ul. Jakuba, next to Cheder) and during the party in Alchemia
