Liron Amram & the Panthers (IL)

Liron grew up in one of the most important musical families of Israel, in the world of Yemenite  melodies and rhythms introduced by his father – Aharon Amram, an Israeli Yemenite song icon. Liron translated the sounds which he absorbed in his childhood into the language of contemporary music, he combined it with electronics, funk, dub, groove, the characteristic sound of the electric guitar and the currently trendy atmosphere of the 1970s. His concerts are an explosive mix of music of the West and the Middle East, old school and very modern sound. Liron was quickly recognised as a new, fresh voice of alternative Israeli music scene who draws his inspiration from the Middle East and Mediterranean sources.
